Overview This Carburetor Heater is suitable for installation on Rotax 462, 532, 582/90, 582/99 and 618 engines installed in NON-Certified aircraft. The operation of this carburetor heater adds a small amount of waste heat from the engine cooling system to the body of the carburetor at its downstream end to keep the temperature of the body above freezing temperature to keep ice from forming in the throat of the carburetor. The system is always ON and does not degrade the performance of the engine by heating the intake air charge.
